A memorial to a very close friend Ian Clare

Ian Clare was a good friend of mine, I had known him for about 8 years, we met when we both took part in a rally that leads you around Europe in a banger that costs no more than £750, it is done to raise money for your chosen charity, mine were Breast cancer awareness and Bi polar disorder after my ex wife was struck with breast cancer at an early age 29 and my late brother took his own life after his long battle with Bipolar disorder.
I met Ian, well I heard Ian on the first rally I did, he was a larger than life character from Bolton.

he was like a magnet, everyone was drawn to him, it really annoyed me, he was loud and confident, I think I was jealous of his popularity.
