Sunbeam sees daylight for the first time in 20 years.

I was called by someone from Staffordshire Police, who asked my name? I said “ you called me” he said he got my number off this website (chose not to read any of the contents or about me where he would have found my name and information) he went on to say he’s calling about a Sunbeam and quoted the registration number (it was this car) he said it was reported stolen on the 26/11/23 I was a little confused and asked him to confirm the date, he did and belligerently replied “last week”  I agreed that that date was last week and told him that we collected this car 18 months ago from a gentleman named Stuart Lloyd.

He said he had spoken to Stuart and Stuart had confirmed this!
he then said we are going to seize the car as it is now stolen! I said “ it’s not stolen! It’s in storage, you will not be seizing it, you can ask me to come in for a voluntary interview to which I will attend and give you all the information you will need!  He then began to get aggressive and say NO we will arrest you and seize the car!
so again I told him he will not be seizing the car nor will he be arresting anyone! The vehicle has not been stolen, He became very angry and affirmed he would tell his colleagues to arrest me!
I didn’t believe he was an actual police officer! Nobody could be so stupid so in not so many words I told him which train to take out of I don’t care station! .

Stuart had stored this car in his unit for the owner for 15 years, the deal we had was that I would take over the storage of the Sunbeam on Stuart’s behalf as he had closed his business and was handing back the unit, we have stored this vehicle at an undisclosed premises since collection:
