Barnfind Vauxhall victor deluxe 101 1965

On monday 06 February I was contacted by a gentleman who was passing our workshops.

heasked if we were interested in a Vauxhall victor 101 Barnfind, he said it belonged to a clients late grandfather.

we were in our workshop in willenhall so I said I would be interested and if he wanted to hang around for ten minutes I’d be coming back.

he waited for me to come home, his name was Jake Winters.

the car looked like it had been standing a while with moss growing and flat tyres, we haggled over the price.
we eventually closed the deal and he signed my receipt.
today 08/ February 2023 I purchased a new battery, a set of spark plugs and a gallon of petrol, we (George) rebuilt the fuel pump and within an hour she was ticking over like a Swiss watch.
she’s a cracking little starter car for a classic enthusiast, there is some rot but nothing major, she drives lovely, brakes are good.
